Preparation
The Salvatore's Special begins with our special 72-hour fermented dough, which creates an exceptionally light and digestible crust with complex flavor. We spread our signature San Marzano tomato sauce and layer fresh buffalo mozzarella. Our house-made Italian sausage is then crumbled over the pizza before baking in our wood-fired oven at 850°F.
After baking, we add the delicate finishing touches: thinly sliced prosciutto di Parma, wild arugula, shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano, and a light drizzle of truffle oil. These premium ingredients are added after baking to preserve their delicate flavors and textures.
