Our Story

Salvatore's Pizza is more than just a pizza place. It's a passion project born from generations of Italian culinary tradition.

From Naples to Canada

Salvatore's Pizza began with our founder, Salvatore Rossi, who immigrated to Canada from Naples, Italy in 2006. Carrying with him the authentic recipes and techniques passed down through generations of his family, Salvatore had a dream to bring the true taste of Neapolitan pizza to Canada.

In 2008, he opened the first Salvatore's Pizza in a small storefront in Alexandraville. What started as a modest operation quickly gained a reputation for serving the most authentic Italian pizza in the area. Using only the finest ingredients, including imported Italian flour for the dough and San Marzano tomatoes for the sauce, Salvatore's commitment to quality and tradition set his pizzas apart.

As word spread about our authentic Neapolitan pizzas, so did our business. Today, Salvatore's Pizza has grown but remains true to its roots. We still use the same traditional methods and premium ingredients that made our first location a success. Our dough is still fermented for 72 hours to develop its complex flavor and perfect texture, and our wood-fired ovens still reach the scorching temperatures needed to create that distinctive leopard-spotted crust in just 90 seconds.

Our Philosophy

At Salvatore's, we believe that simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication. We focus on doing a few things exceptionally well rather than trying to be everything to everyone. Our menu is carefully curated to showcase the best of Italian pizza traditions while occasionally introducing innovative combinations that honor those traditions.

Every pizza that leaves our kitchen is a reflection of our commitment to authenticity, quality, and the joy of sharing good food. We're not just serving pizza; we're sharing a piece of Italian culture and Salvatore's family heritage with every customer.
